Our New Home: A grey day community snapshot

When we decided on a house to move into, we didn't even consider how important the community and neighbors were until we actually moved in, saw how great the house was and met our amazing neighbors.

Saranac is built on what used to be Camp Glenkirk, on the Lake Manassas. It is a beautiful place and truly the perfect place for us.

Today we walked down to the lake and visited some of the existing campsites that are now part of our community amenities and I snapped a few pictures. Maybe not the best ones as I am still getting used to this whole photography thing and it was bitterly cold outside but a few to get an idea of what our little neighborhood looks like.

So there you have it. Snapshots of our new community as well as some pictures of Meatwad, because I know that's what you really came here for.
